    I am a safe, professional, and reliable specialist offering reasonably priced phone and video counselling. My private practice was created to provide flexibility during daily hours for clients, like yourself. If you are feeling any form of anxiety, depression, low self esteem, stress, anger or grief, you’ve come to the right place. My goal is to assist as many clients as possible who struggle with these issues.

    My love for therapy started well before entering my master’s studies at Yorkville University. I knew I wanted to be part of a helping profession as early as secondary school. However, pinpointing the right one took some time. I volunteered with the Golden Door Geriatric Center, helping seniors in their day-to-day activities, and with Victoria Hospital’s Medical Rehabilitation Unit, where I helped seniors that were recovering from injuries. In addition, I later volunteered with and worked at St. Amant and assisted autistic persons. After completing this contract, my parents gave me a suggestion to pursue my master’s in counselling. I found my courses with Yorkville University to be enjoyable, and my practicum experience was highly rewarding. Said simply, I love being a therapist as this role brings great fulfillment to my life.

    My dream is to provide my online video therapeutic assistance to as many people as possible, to know I am making a positive impact, and to help my clients work through and resolve their problems while developing healthy, stable relationships and lifestyles.

    I Am Here For You

    When not in my office, I often enjoy watching movies on Netflix, Disney Plus, and Amazon Prime. In the winter holidays I like playing board games with my relatives. Outside of that, I like jogging on a treadmill to help me deal with my regular stressors. (I find that breaking a sweat with exercise leaves me feeling great.)

    What energizes me is my desire to help individuals from all walks of life. I want to assist you in reaching your goals. Through therapy, we can develop a great bond. My intention is to become committed to you and to support you in achieving positive change. Ultimately, my approach is collaborative, and my clients and I work together as a team. The most rewarding part of being a therapist is looking back and realizing how many others I have helped. The positive changes my clients have made pave the road for future goals and dreams. I wish the same for you!

    My Philosophy

    As a professional therapist that is expertly trained in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), I am motivated by my client’s wish to achieve their best outcomes. I am genuine, empathetic, and truly wish to assist you. My aim is to assist my clients by instilling hope, managing anger, regulating emotions, restoring relationships, setting boundaries, providing support with sobriety maintenance, developing healthy communication, applying tools for panic attacks, and providing a confidential, non-judgemental, and trusting listening space.

    My personal values in counselling focus on facilitating my clients in an appropriate manner so that they progress and achieve their important short- and long-term goals. This comprises hearing my kind and supportive perspectives, offering compassion, and showing my loyalty and commitment to assist you in achieving your positive outcomes.

    My Approach

    My therapeutic approach is effective. Several of my former clients gained control over their addictions, maintained their sobriety, and went from being in impoverished circumstances to being able to support themselves and eventually living independently. Many of these same clients suffered from mental health concerns wherein I provided additional guidance on how to gain control over their troublesome symptoms and live a more meaningful life.

    My Mission

    Every therapist has a niche. By providing individual therapy I have worked with several adult clients that experience depression, anxiety, stress, struggles with self-esteem, anger, and grief. I have also worked with individuals living with mental health concerns such as ADHD, OCD, and schizoaffective disorder. If you live with any number of these, are an adult, and experience depression and/or anxiety that you already have control over, then I will be an excellent fit for you. Please note that ongoing treatment from a physician or psychiatrist is necessary. I intend to help clients by teaching them how to add structure to their lives and manage their emotions and by guiding them as they learn to live a meaningful life. Essentially, I want each client to achieve their utmost potential.

    Every client needs a therapist they can trust and connect with. I know that it takes time to develop a good relationship with clients. A strong relationship allows the client to open up, but both the client and the therapist must put in their best effort to get there. During sessions, clients have felt comfortable to laugh and cry. We form excellent relationships that feel much like a close friendship but with the boundaries to ensure the facilitative client–therapist interaction.

    In short, I am a genuine therapist that will go above and beyond to assist you. I have experienced anxiety, depression, and grief myself, so I know how it feels.
