    My Services

I realize that no two people are the same and as such tailor my therapy to meet the specific needs of my clients. Whether you are struggling with anxiety, depression or any other issue, I will help you recognize underlying problems, fully realize your strengths and adjust certain behaviors and thoughts to see things a different, healthier way.

    Anger Management

When you’re angry, do you start name-calling? Do you get angry when someone wants you to open up and share your feelings? Do you lack patience? Are your family members or kids afraid to talk to you? No one wants to admit they get angry, especially when it gets out of control and hurts the ones we love. Anger issues aren’t uncommon and the first step towards change is an admittance of the problem. Learning to stop isn’t as simple as some may think, but together we can come up with a game plan tailored exclusively to you.

    Cognitive Behavioral Therapy

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy or CBT is a short-term, problem-focused form of behavioral treatment that helps people see the difference between beliefs, thoughts, and feelings, and free them from unhelpful patterns of behavior. CBT is grounded in the belief that it is a person’s perception of events – rather than the events themselves – that determines how he or she will feel and act in response. Most people with clearly defined behavioral and emotional concerns tend to reap the benefits of CBT. With CBT, you’ll be able to adjust the thoughts that directly influence your emotions and behavior.

    Counseling for Anxiety

One excellent way to reduce your anxiety and gradually regain control over your life is by receiving talk therapy. I can provide assistance and possibly help you resolve your problems. Additionally, I can help you set new goals for your future. As a result, you can gain a balanced lifestyle, where you can manage your stressors, have a daily routine, and rest better.

    Grief and Bereavement

It takes time to learn how to deal with grief, but you can learn to live with it, accept it, and eventually, to a great extent, move on. Losing a loved one is very hard, but they will continue to live on in your thoughts through your cherished memories. Through therapy you can learn to process your emotions, give yourself time to get through your challenges, and set realistic goals to resolve them. I have lost close loved ones and best friends, so I know how it feels—you are not alone. We can work as a team to help you deal with your toughest emotions.

    Social Anxiety Counselling

Do you experience intense anxiety or nervousness when faced with social situations. Do you fear being judged or criticized by others? Are you always worried about making mistakes, looking bad, or being embarrassed in front of others?

If you answered yes to any of the above, you may have a social anxiety disorder.

Do you need support, but can’t make it to an in-person appointment? Are you a busy stay-at-home or working parent, and don’t have the time to drive across town for an appointment?

Do you live in a more rural area, or maybe you prefer to just do things Virtually?

    Therapy for Depression

Have you been experiencing a low mood that has been persistent for a long time? Have you tried coping but found you have lost interest in the things you once enjoyed? Do you feel either worthless or that time is going by and that the sadness is deterring a happy future? If so, you could be struggling with depression.

    Therapy for Self-Esteem

Do you suffer from anxiety or depression? Do you often feel awkward and self-conscious in social settings? Are you constantly comparing yourself to others and finding you never measure up?

Self-esteem is a concept that speaks to how we feel about ourselves. When one has high self-esteem, they feel confident, centered, and worthy of love.
